REWIRING YOUR DEGENERATE DIET
Today Americans eat a diet based around preservatives and processed foods and it is causing the subsequent downfall of humanity. Consider this; a diet based on preservatives, seed oils, unnatural dyes and man made sugars makes cancer five times more likely. Products like skittles, pop tarts, wheat thins, coffee mate, most sugary cereal, mountain dew and so many more are banned in virtually every other country. Our minds and bodies have been corrupted by corporate formaldehyde. We have been proverbially fried by fluoride. 35% of Americans are obese and I wonder why. It's the shit we eat and our culture of sedentary lifestyles. Why is this important? Because the future of our world is in this generation’s hands, testosterone is declining on a slow but steady death march, and literally everyone in America is being poisoned by the government and hellish mega corporations. Testosterone in men is decreasing 1% a year. 1 percent! If we ever want to revert back to a pre industrial culture this simply can’t go on. Have you ever heard of Weston A. Price? He was a dentist who studied the correlation between tooth decay and diet and he found some information that will hopefully forever change your view on modern nutrition. Price found that uncolonized african natives who had a diet consisting of meat, vegetables, whole grains, healthy cholesterol, unpasteurized milk, and plenty of fermented dishes had shockingly perfect bone structure, teeth, lifespans up to 10 years longer than city folk, and virtually no disabilities or disease. However that’s not the shocking part; when these natives went into the city for a few weeks and ate the processed modern foods, their teeth recessed and started to rot, they developed chronic diseases at a much higher rate and their muscles got much less refined and in some cases started to atrophy. Price came to the conclusion that western ways of preparing and eating food stripped away vital nutrients and that the best diet was a raw one. This is correct but the association can be attributed more closely to the diet that I described earlier (meat, vegetables, whole grains, healthy cholesterol, unpasteurized milk, fermented food) rather than the vegetables being raw. The point of this section is to illustrate that the diets of indigenous groups should be a model for a deep ecologist interested in a healthy and preindustrial way of eating. I figure that some of you are wondering how you can implement a preindustrial diet into your daily life, so here are some tips to point you in the right direction. Firstly let's discuss the ever growing pandemic of vegetarianism and veganism. India has a population of mainly vegetarians and also (not) coincidentally has one of the lowest average lifespans. You don’t get nearly enough vital vitamins and most supplemental meat products are processed to an ungodly degree and contain the same amount of estrogen as a high dose estrogen shot for a trans woman. Quite frankly, I would group vegetarianism and veganism with other fad diets like keto, juice cleansing or paleo. So how can you eat? I would suggest the book Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon. It is a jackpot of recipes, information and tips for how to eat, prepare and store food a traditional way. It's well worth the cost. Good luck, you’ll need it!
